London Riots

mirror.co.uk 2011

I did not know about the London Riots, and I was unsure about the meaning of the word ‘riot’.
I learned that a riot is a movement of a group of people in the streets with an upset mood. Usually, young people take the lead of this movement. In riots there are a lot of violins, fights and worse.
Many people were asking why dos a riot happen .Riots often happen because of people how did not like the dictions of the government on specific things. As well, it could be happen because of people who think that they do not have rights like other cities.
  • Why did London Riots happen?
London Riots started with a black man who was killed by a policeman. Many people did not like that and most of them saw this case as racism. At the beginning when the riots started, United Kingdom had already another number crisis. Workers Solidarity Movement (WSM) (2011) "The riots happened at a particular moment, a moment when capitalism is in deep crisis. Indeed the riots occurred at the same time as yet another crash in global markets.”
Moreover, in the riot movement a lot of young men were distorting the government priorities like shops and geldings. Because of these vandalisms, the riot police had to intervene to stop this nonsense. According to CBC news (2011) about 600 people at the riot in London were charged from the police due to looting and violence.
